The Tango Society of Boston will present the Second Annual Boston Tango Festival from June 15-19, 2005. Modeled after similar highly successful events in major cities around the world, the Boston Tango Festival will bring together a large group of people of all ages, ethnic backgrounds and cultures to learn and enjoy the dance, which has been experiencing a worldwide explosion of popularity in recent years.

This year, the Boston Ballet in the South End will host our daytime workshops.

We anticipate attracting one of the largest North American audiences for such an event, due to Boston’s position as a major cultural center and its location within easy reach of the following metropolitan areas with large tango communities: NYC, Providence, New Haven, Philadelphia, Hartford, Albany, Baltimore, and Washington DC.

Our 2200 members are primarily professional adults, highly educated, with substantial disposable income.

We look forward to your participation in one of Boston’s most anticipated cultural events! Please call me at 617-721-4872 for more information.

Tangazos,

Vicky Magaletta, President

Advertise with Us

Advertising opportunities will be available in the printed Festival Guide, which will be distributed both prior to and during the five-day event. The Festival Guide is distributed to our out of town guests, as well as to our 2200 local members, whether or not they attend the festival.

This year, the Boston Ballet in the South End will host our daytime workshops. Our evening events will take place at American Repertory Theatre’s exciting new Zero Arrow Theatre in Harvard Square . Festival attendees tend to spend a great amount of time exploring the neighborhoods in the vicinity of festival events. Shopping and dining are as much a part of the festival experience as the events, themselves!

The Festival Guide also provides a unique opportunity for service providers, as well as retailers and restaurants. Our 2200 local members are primarily professional adults, highly educated, with substantial disposable income. They are also “tango loyalists” who will see these ads more than once, and support those who support tango in Boston! Deadline June 1st.

The Festival Guide will be 51/2” x 81/2”
